Chris Conley blew up the NFL Combine this year, which got him on the map. Prior to that, few outside the state of Georgia were mentioning him in the pre-draft dialogue at wide receiver.

I have already written up Chris Conley since the combine, marveling at his blooming athleticism score in the projection model. A second post in the span of a month, when there are plenty of prospects to cover with profiles, probably makes me on some sort of bandwagon.

As I looked into Chris Conley’s historical place, I set the threshold at +90% (that figure means his raw score is 90% better than the average drafted receiver since 1999) or better in the athleticism category. These are the most-freakish (by the numbers) wide receivers in the past 25 years:
